This policy explains how Chilli Pepper (Chilli Pepper Enterprises Ltd, registered in England & Wales) uses cookies and similar technologies on chillipepper.online, and how you can manage your choices. It sits alongside our privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as browser local storage, pixels and tags — work in comparable ways. We group what we use into two kinds: strictly necessary, and non-essential (advertising).

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required to deliver the service you asked for — for example keeping you signed in and keeping the service secure. They do not require your consent, and the site cannot function properly without them.

Advertising cookies (only with your consent)

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure how well our adverts work. This tag does not load and sets nothing until you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you reject, or ignore the banner, it stays off.

Google acts as a third party here; its handling of data is governed by Google’s own policies. We do not load this tag for visitors who have not accepted.

Managing your choices

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop you signing in. Clearing site data will reset your cookie choice, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

A note on marketing attribution. When you arrive from one of our adverts we may store the campaign tags from the link (and the Google click identifier) in your browser’s local storage, so that if you sign up we can attribute it correctly. This is first-party, stored only on your own device, and used only to credit the right campaign.
